• Skippers licence and canoeing experience is advantageous but not necessary

This is an opportunity for a practical workshop professional to play an important role in keeping essential vehicles and equipment operational in a unique reserve environment. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, the role involves carrying out and coordinating routine and preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs across the property. This includes electrical systems, plumbing, pumps and solar installations, as well as minor construction work and general building repairs. The successful candidate will help supervise the maintenance team and outside contractors when required, keep accurate records of completed work and equipment checks, and monitor tools, spare parts and supplies so that replacements are ordered in good time. The position requires sound technical skills, good organisation and a clear understanding of the standards expected in a guest-focused luxury lodge, where urgent faults are handled promptly and with minimal disruption to guests.   Requirements

• Relevant trade qualification or certification in electrical, plumbing or a related technical field

The couple will jointly fulfil two distinct but complementary roles.
