Spa & Wellness Manager | Botswana

𝗝𝗗 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is assisting an internationally recognised luxury safari hospitality group in Botswana with the recruitment of an experienced 𝗦𝗣𝗔 & 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗥.

Set within one of Africa’s most celebrated safari environments, this is an exciting opportunity for a wellness professional to shape a distinctive guest offering that goes beyond the traditional spa experience. The successful candidate will bring fresh ideas and a genuine passion for holistic wellbeing, combining luxury treatments with nature, movement, mindfulness, relaxation and personalised guest experiences.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines the day-to-day management of the wellness facility with the development of innovative experiences tailored to the surrounding wilderness. The successful candidate will lead and develop the team, maintain exceptional operational standards, personally deliver treatments when required, and work alongside hospitality, culinary and guiding teams to integrate wellness naturally into the overall guest journey.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of leadership experience within wellness or luxury hospitality.
• A recognised therapy qualification and proven experience delivering treatments to a high-end standard.
• Previous experience in a luxury spa, wellness retreat, destination resort or comparable hospitality environment.
• Strong people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and hold a diverse team accountable.
• Experience creating and introducing new wellness programmes, treatments and guest experiences.
• A sound understanding of current international wellness trends and emerging wellbeing concepts.
• Strong operational and commercial awareness, including the ability to maintain facilities, manage standards and improve team performance.
• A hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
• The confidence to work independently and lead effectively in a remote camp environment.
• A willingness to learn and implement the employer’s established service philosophy and guest experience standards.

Salary: BWP 20,000 – 30,000 per month, depending on experience.
