𝗝𝗗 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is assisting a well-established safari and luxury travel company in sourcing experienced and knowledgeable 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗜 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗦.

Our client is a reputable operator in the Southern African safari and travel space, known for crafting exceptional itineraries for a discerning international clientele. They work closely with a network of international agents, tour operators and direct travellers, and are now looking to grow their consulting team with experienced, product-savvy individuals who can hit the ground running.

The successful candidates will be responsible for designing and selling bespoke safari itineraries, building strong supplier and agent relationships, and actively driving new business. These are remote-based positions suited to self-motivated travel trade professionals who are passionate about Southern Africa and thrive in a sales-driven environment.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Design and sell tailor-made safari and travel itineraries for international clients, matching product to budget, travel style and preferences.
• Negotiate and conclude STO agreements with lodges, hotels and ground operators across Southern Africa.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international agents, tour operators and direct clients.
• Actively generate new business, follow up on leads and drive bookings to meet personal and team revenue targets.
• Stay current on Southern African destinations, product developments and supplier offerings to provide expert guidance to clients.
• Manage the full booking process — from accurate quoting and proposal through to confirmation, documentation and handover.
• Liaise with operations and reservations teams to ensure seamless itinerary execution and a high standard of client experience.

𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

• Experience in the travel trade, safari industry or tour operations — hands-on knowledge of Southern African product is essential.
• Sales-driven with a proven ability to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Experience working with international agents and tour operators, with an understanding of how the trade operates.
• Familiarity with STO agreements and supplier negotiations is advantageous.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to represent a premium brand professionally.
• Detail-oriented with solid quoting, itinerary design and administration skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting with strong self-management and time discipline.

𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆- R25,000 – R30,000 CTC per month plus commission incentives
