Lodge Manager | Mpumalanga

𝗝𝗗 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is partnering with a leading luxury lodge collection in Mpumalanga to recruit an experienced, dedicated and guest centric 𝗟𝗢𝗗𝗚𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗥

The lodge is guided by a distinctive guest philosophy built on presence, warmth, and exceptional service, and the Lodge Manager will bring that philosophy to life at every guest touchpoint, from meals and check ins to game drive departures and arrivals. This person will lead a high performing team, manage guest feedback proactively, and drive creative guest delight initiatives that keep the experience fresh and memorable.

The role carries full accountability for lodge operations, and the upkeep and safety of all facilities, vehicles, and equipment.  Strong leadership is essential, with the Lodge Manager responsible for developing, staff, conducting performance reviews, and maintaining full compliance with health and safety standards.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on high standards, structure, and genuine care for both guests and team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior lodge or hospitality management role within a luxury safari environment is essential.
• Previous experience managing both FOH & BOH day-to-day operational requirements.
• Confident and hands on leadership with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team.
• A passion for guest service excellence.
• Confidence engaging with guests at every touchpoint, from meals to game drives
• Good financial acumen and experience with implementing and monitoring high-end operational standards and procedures.
• A sound understanding of health and safety compliance, including OHSAS
• A stable employment history and contactable references.
