𝗝𝗗 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is assisting a new exclusive luxury safari camp in Tanzania opening in November in sourcing an experienced 𝗟𝗢𝗗𝗚𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗥
Our client is opening a brand-new luxury tented safari camp in Tanzania, set to welcome its first guests in late 2026. The property delivers quiet luxury and deeply personalised guest experiences, with an uncompromising focus on service excellence.
This is a rare pre-opening opportunity to join a flagship luxury property from the ground up. The successful F&B Manager will play a key role in establishing the food and beverage experience — from building the team and setting SOPs to developing menus and creating the dining rituals that will define the guest journey from day one. A background in big-brand hospitality and genuine bush or safari experience will set the right candidate apart.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for all food and beverage operations across the camp. The successful candidate will set and maintain the highest service standards in a remote safari environment, ensuring a seamless and world-class experience for every guest.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
- Play a key role in pre-opening F&B setup — establishing SOPs, service standards, menus and training programmes ahead of the first guests.
- Oversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences across all dining occasions.
- Lead, develop and motivate the F&B team, maintaining the highest luxury service standards.
- Manage F&B budgets, costs, stock control and supplier procurement with a focus on financial performance.
- Oversee beverage programmes, wine selection and bar operations, maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
- Drive innovation in the F&B offering, incorporating unique bush dining and safari experiences.
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
- Proven experience as an F&B Manager in a luxury lodge, hotel or comparable remote hospitality environment.
- Bush or safari experience essential.
- Pre-opening experience a strong advantage.
- Big-brand hospitality background (international hotel group) a significant advantage.
- Strong people leadership and team development skills.
- Solid financial acumen including costing, stock control and budgeting.
- Excellent guest-facing skills with a genuine passion for delivering luxury service.
- Comfortable working in a remote environment.
𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 – USD 2,500 – 3,000 net per month.
𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 – Live-in (accommodation and meals provided).
