Assistant Management Couple | Greater Kruger

JD Specialized Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a Big 5 safari lodge in Greater Kruger for an enthusiastic and hands-on 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗣𝗟𝗘

This is a live-in opportunity for a couple who enjoy the bush environment and are looking to build their experience within a safari lodge setting. The successful couple will form part of the lodge management team and contribute to a warm, professional guest experience.

One partner will focus on Front of House, Reservations and guest administration, while the other will take responsibility for guiding and ranger duties. The role is suited to a practical couple who are comfortable working closely with guests, supporting lodge operations and living on site.

Requirements

Front of House / Reservations

• Previous hospitality, lodge or guest-facing experience is advantageous
• Strong guest service skills, with a warm and professional approach.
• Good administration skills and the ability to manage reservations, guest information and booking changes accurately.
• Ability to coordinate guest arrivals and departures and work closely with housekeeping, guiding and operations teams.

Field Guide

• Qualified Field Guide with FGASA Level 1 or 2.
• Experience in bush walks, game drives and guest hosting.
• Valid PDP, First Aid and DEAT registration.
• Rifle competency with advanced rifle handling skills.
• Basic vehicle and camp maintenance knowledge.

Both partners must be comfortable with a live-in lodge environment and a 3-weeks-on / 1-week-off work cycle.

Employment – Live-in position with a 3-weeks-on / 1-week-off working schedule.
