Assistant Lodge Management Couple | Mpumalanga

𝗝𝗗 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is partnering with an exclusive luxury safari lodge in Mpumalanga to recruit an experienced and guest centric 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗟𝗢𝗗𝗚𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗣𝗟𝗘.

The couple must have well developed guest interaction skills, a genuine commitment to five-star service, a good understanding of day-to-day lodge operations across both back of house and front of house, and the confidence to lead their team from the front.

The couple will take oversight of food and beverage operations, manage lodge personnel effectively, and support the Lodge Managers with administration and planning. They will also step in to run the lodge whenever the Lodge Managers are off duty or on leave, so sound judgement and the ability to lead under pressure are essential.

This is a hands-on role for a couple with a well-balanced skill set, an exceptional eye for detail, and the creativity, vision, and passion to curate a world-class, personalised experience that creates lasting memories for every guest.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a management role within a 5* lodge.
• Good understanding of day-to-day lodge operations, both back of house and front of house
• Strong food and beverage management experience
• Excellent guest interaction skills and a genuine passion for five-star service
• Confident, hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage personnel effectively
• Sound administrative, planning, and organisational skills
• Experience with stock control
• Ability to relieve the Lodge Managers during time off duty and periods of leave
• Couples with complementary strengths across food and beverage and administration will be considered
• Stable employment history and contactable references.
