JD Specialized Recruitment is partnering with an intimate Luxury Hotel in Plettenberg Bay to recruit an experienced GENERAL MANAGER.


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar senior managerial role with FOH and BOH knowledge.
  • A Relevant Degree in Tourism and Hospitality or equivalent is essential.
  • A warm and friendly person, guest centric with a good understanding of the requirements. needed to manage a high-end property, guest expectations and standards.
  • Excellent communication, delegation and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled in day-to-day operations, financial management, HR, staff training, implementing SOP’s and cost control.
  • Proven track record of effectively and fairly leading a team, displaying the ability to instil core company values and culture and lead by example.
  • A level head, caring, compassionate and strong leader who fosters teamwork and empowers employees.
  • Driver’s license and PDP required.
  • Good & stable track record with contactable references.

Start date – ASAP
