Trails Guide | Mozambique

JD Specialized Recruitment are currently in search of a TRAILS GUIDE for a reputable Tourism operation in Mozambique.

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate Trails Guide to join a pioneering conservation-focused property where guiding goes beyond wildlife – it’s about storytelling, community engagement, and inspiring a deeper connection to nature through immersive, responsible tourism.

Zimbabwean & Mozambique nationals preferred

Requirements

• Minimum FGASA Level 2 (NQF 4) or Zimbabwean equivalent
• Trails Guide Lead and a Valid ARH
• Valid First Aid Certificate minimum level 1
• Valid code 10 Drivers licence or equivalent with a valid PrDP.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a lead trails guide
• Skippers licence and canoeing experience is an added advantage
• 4×4 driving skills.
• General knowledge of legal implications of being a Field Guide
• General vehicle maintenance knowledge Basic computer knowledge & inventory

Salary – between $1500 and $1900 net depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits. Live in.
