Renowned for crafting bespoke African travel experiences, our client is seeking a service-driven, detail-oriented Inbound Travel Consultant who thrives on creating tailor-made itineraries and delivering seamless guest journeys.

In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, managing the entire travel process from the initial inquiry through to post-travel feedback. Your in-depth knowledge of Southern African destinations, combined with your ability to design personalised itineraries, will be key in delivering exceptional service and memorable travel experiences.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Handle all inbound travel enquiries from initial contact to post-travel follow-up
• Design creative and highly personalised FIT itineraries across Southern and East Africa
• Book and manage all travel components: accommodation, activities, transfers, and flights
• Communicate professionally with clients, agents, and suppliers
• Ensure accuracy in quotations, confirmations, and final documentation
• Upsell and cross-sell services where relevant
• Monitor trip progress and be on-call for client support where needed
• Maintain accurate records on Tourplan (experience preferred)
• Work closely with internal team to ensure flawless itinerary execution

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

• 3–5 years’ experience in Inbound FIT reservations (non-negotiable)
• Tourism or travel-related qualification advantageous
• Strong regional knowledge of Southern & East Africa destinations
• Tourplan experience preferred
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously
