JD Specialized Recruitment have partnered with an exclusive Restaurant in Rosebank, Johannesburg to recruit an experience RESTAURANT MANAGER

This role requires a dedicated hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury service, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep knowledge of food and wine. The ideal candidate will be guest-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering an exceptional dining experience

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) essential; a tertiary qualification in Food Services Management or Hospitality is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 5-star or equivalent fine dining establishment
• Wine certification, such as WSET Level 2 or similar, is essential
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be well-presented, with a professional demeanour and strong focus on guest service excellence
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for consistently high service standards
• Highly self-disciplined with superior planning, organizing, and time management abilities
• Comprehensive knowledge of fine dining service standards, including food, wine varietals, bar service, and dietary requirements
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse team
• Stable employment history and contractable references.
