Restaurant General Manager | Cape Town

𝗝𝗗 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is assisting a trendy and vibrant new restaurant set to open in Cape Town in January 2026, in recruiting a dynamic & experienced 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗥

We are looking for an accomplished and energetic General Manager to take the lead at this exciting new high-end restaurant. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong operational background, and demonstrates excellent people leadership skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new opening and to play a key role in establishing a vibrant, contemporary dining destination in Cape Town.

Key Requirements:

• Demonstrated success in managing large, high-energy restaurant operations with a focus on efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Deep knowledge of food & beverage operations, including stock control, cost management, and health and safety compliance.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities — capable of inspiring, coaching, and managing a large, diverse team.
• Committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences while maintaining service consistency and quality.
• Hands-on manager with excellent judgment and the ability to think on their feet in a dynamic, trend-driven environment.
• Financially savvy with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, driving revenue, and boosting bottom-line performance.
• Resilient under pressure, with a calm and solutions-focused approach in high-stress moments.
• A stable career history and contactable references are non-negotiable.

Start – January 2026 

Salary – R50K Depending on Experience
