Resident / General Manager – Bhutan

JD Specialized Recruitment are thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of an award-winning property in Bhutan for a young, adventurous, and highly organized RESIDENT / GENERAL MANAGER

This a wonderful opportunity for a passionate, guest centric and adventurous Hospitality professional, with a keen interest to experience working in Asia.

General Requirements
·Five or more years in a leadership position in luxury hotels or luxury travel
·Experience in, providing exceptional service to the luxury traveller, ensures that the highest standards of guest experience are maintained.
·Highly organized and efficient, a strong communicator with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
·High attention to detail and experience in supporting and training teams in a hotel environment.
·A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, ideally in hospitality, or an MBA in Hospitality or Business Administration
·Experience living and working in remote locations.
·Fluent in written and spoken English with a second European language preferable.
·Strong Financial Management skills and proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets
·Strong budgeting skills
·Experience in corresponding with and supporting high end, luxury travel designers, assisting them in creating bespoke itineraries.
·A keen interest in sustainable tourism and learning about different cultures, to enable to continue to grow a strong relationship with the local community.
·Excellent track record with exceptional references
