The ideal candidate is a resilient, detail-oriented professional with an enquiring mind and a creative approach to problem-solving. You should exhibit patience, persistence, adaptability, and be prepared to take on routine as well as high-energy tasks. A flexible attitude, decisive nature, and strong leadership capability are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Camp Manager or Safari Host an advantage.
• Previous experience in a guest-facing service role within the hospitality or tourism industry.
• The ability to co-ordinate the day-to-day operations of a camp and to provide superior service and quality to the guests.
• Identify training needs and provide ongoing training to develop team capability.
• Awareness of environmental practices and sustainability.
• Knowledge of local communities & culture.
• Valid South African drivers licence.
• Excellent, stable track record with contactable references.
