JD Specialized Recruitment is partnering with a Safari Group with a portfolio of Camps in Botswana to recruit an OPERATIONS MANAGER

PLEASE NOTE – This role is bush-based and only open to Motswana citizens

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is advantageous.

· Minimum of 5 years as an Operations Manager in the safari or hospitality industry, managing multiple camps

· Experience in budgeting, financial management, and implementing cost-efficiency measures.

· Ensure adherence to operational standards and policies across all camps.

· Hands-on and energetic, capable of rolling out operational changes across 12 camps.

· Train staff on stock management, stock takes, housekeeping, and basic computer skills.

· Maintain high standards of furniture upkeep, placement, and continuous improvement.

· Experience with new builds, including sourcing equipment, furniture, and managing logistics.

· Implement systems to enhance cost efficiency and improve both internal and external client experiences.

· Energetic and hands-on leadership style.

· Valid driver’s license with 4×4 driving experience is an advantage.

· Stable work history with contactable references.
