𝗝𝗗 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is currently assisting a prestigious private members club in Cape Town in recruiting a charismatic and strategically minded 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥 to lead the club’s exclusive membership community.

We are assisting a world-class members-only club in Cape Town to source an exceptional Membership Director. This individual will take the lead in growing, nurturing, and elevating a private community influential entrepreneurs, creatives, and cultural tastemakers.

This is a high-profile role suited to an individual with exceptional social intelligence, luxury lifestyle awareness, and a deep understanding of how to build, engage, and retain an elite network.

𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦

• Drive membership acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies
• Manage the full member journey from application to onboarding and communications
• Curate and execute a calendar of tailored events, talks, and member activations
• Liaise with F&B, marketing, and operational teams to ensure seamless member experiences
• Uphold brand discretion, tone of voice, and exclusivity at all times
• Monitor member feedback and satisfaction metrics to support continuous improvement

𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 & 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in luxury hospitality, lifestyle, or community management
• Strong networks across South Africa’s business, art, design, and cultural scenes
• Sophisticated communicator with refined interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Highly organised and strategic, with strong operational and execution capabilities
• Warm, confident, and discreet, with a natural passion for people and connection
• South African citizenship or valid work permit essential
• References essential
