Maintenance Manager | Eastern Cape

JD Specialized Recruitment are currently assisting a coastal family hotel in the Eastern Cape to identify an experienced and dynamic MAINTENANCE MANAGER.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a similar upmarket property
• Trade or related qualification and a Certified Maintenance Manager (CPMM) qualification is a plus.
• Excellent maintenance skills and experience in a hospitality environment, overseeing and manage all aspects of property maintenance.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge and hands-on experience of systems to be maintained (e.g. Electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, water purification.)
• Able to use initiative in high pressure circumstances and great problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly.
• Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills
• High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Valid driving license.
• Stable employment history and contactable references
