Luxury Travel Consultant | Cape Town

JD Specialized Recruitment is currently assisting a Luxury Safari Travel Company, to recruit a dynamic and experienced LUXURY TRAVEL CONSULTANT

PLEASE NOTE – The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Africa’s safari destinations, luxury lodges, and hotels, with first-hand travel experience preferred. A proven track record in sales and high conversion rates is important.

This is a remote position based in Cape Town, requiring regular in-person team meetings and training sessions in the Southern Suburbs

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience as a luxury safari sales consultant with a solid sales and product background in the luxury Africa travel industry.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Word, strong mathematical skills for accurate quoting, and the ability to quickly learn new systems such as XERO and CRMs.
• Familiarity with itinerary software such as WETU or Safari Portal is preferred.
• Highly meticulous, disciplined, and structured in managing bookings and itineraries.
• Strong sales skills with a history of successful conversions, excellent verbal communication for client consultations, and a commitment to delivering seamless, unforgettable experiences.
• Exceptional writing skills to craft clear, professional itineraries that align with the company’s brand and philosophy.
• Ability to work independently from home, with adaptable working hours to meet industry demands.
• A stable employment history with verifiable references.

Salary – Dependent on experience
