Lodge Manager | Uganda

JD Specialized Recruitment is currently assisting an exclusive eco-luxury lodge in Uganda to recruit a seasoned LODGE MANAGER to lead the Team

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in guest services, front-of-house management and food and beverage operations, combined with strong leadership abilities that re needed to manage and motivate a diverse team. This role requires someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high operational standards, managing stock and procurement efficiently. This position offers a unique opportunity to live and work in a remote, nature-rich environment while contributing to sustainable tourism and community engagement.

PLEASE NOTE – This position is only open citizens of Kenya or Uganda

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in lodge or boutique hotel management
• Experience with ResRequest, TallOrder, and Mystock is preferred but not required.
• Strong background in Food & Beverage management, including service standards, hygiene, and cost control
• Experience overseeing multi-department operations (housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with inventory and stock control systems
• Skilled in producing operational and financial reports
• Ability to resolve guest concerns with professionalism and efficiency
• Demonstrated ability to lead and train diverse teams in a remote setting
• Comfortable working in remote or nature-based locations with limited access
• Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management

Salary – Maximum of $2 000 net (DOE) with live-in benefits
