Lodge Manager – Tanzania

JD Specialized Recruitment are currently recruiting for a LODGE MANAGER for an exclusive Lodge in Tanzania

A partner with a maintenance background will be considered

The Lodge Manager is ultimately responsible for every department within the Lodge.  Each Head of Department has his or her direct responsibilities; however, the Lodge Manager is required to oversee the general efficiency of each of those areas, ensuring that the relevant managers comply with their own duties and areas of responsibility.  Will report to a GM who is on site.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5 years Management experience in a 5-star property
• East Africa Management experience an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Financial management ability
• A hardworking, co-operative manner
• High standards of service excellence and a passion for the industry
• High attention to detail
• Exceptional English and a second language would be preferable
• Conservation orientated
• Team Player
• Good computer literacy
• Tertiary Education relevant to the Industry is non- negotiable

Salary $2 000 – $3 000pm net / Couple salary is negotiable
