Lodge Manager or Management Couple | Tanzania

JD Specialized Recruitment is partnering with an exclusive 5* Lodge in Tanzania, to recruit a charismatic and dynamic LODGE MANAGER | MANAGEMENT COUPLE

➡️Please Note: A couple with the right combination of skills will be considered e.g. One partner could be an exceptional fine dining chef.

Requirements

• A hospitality Degree or Diploma, or similar from a reputable institution is essential
• 6 years’ experience at management level gained at a five-star world-class lodge.
• Excellent understanding of the operational requirements of all departments including F&B, Housekeeping, and Maintenance
• High standards of service excellence and a keen sense of detail.
• Advanced Food and Beverage knowledge and awareness of developments within the food and lodge industries, as well as international trends in hospitality.
• Good financial acumen, computer literacy and understanding of basic labour laws.
• Exceptional communication skills (English) and a second language would be preferable.
• Strong leadership, staff mentoring experience and passion for training and staff development.
• Good administration and Reporting skills.
• Assertiveness, patience, and good organizational skills.
• Valid Driver’s license.
