Lodge Manager or Management Couple | Madagascar

JD Specialized Recruitment have partnered with a new and intimate Tented Camp in Madagascar to recruit a LODGE MANAGER or MANAGEMENT COUPLE to manage this camp

Requirements

• Applicants should be young and dynamic, with previous experience managing a remote lodge or camp

• Some spoken French would be highly advantageous.

• Clean Police Clearance Certificate is necessary to obtain a work permit

Responsibilities

All aspects of running a remote, high end luxury property in a logistically challenged country

• Hosting guests, meet and greet on arrival, meals, campfire drinks, etc

• Organising activities with guides, planning and preparing activities and meals

• Maintenance of the Camp, ensuring any problems are resolved quickly, planning repairs and renovations with the maintenance team

• Stock management, ordering supplies from the capital and planning in advance for special requests.

• Accounts management of daily spending, salaries etc

• Vehicle maintenance, planning and repair for 6 Land Rovers and planning sub-hired vehicles.

• Staff Management and hiring for peak season.

Start – Early 2025

Salary – Couple – $44 000pa net | Single – neg on experience/ 1 flight home a year / health insurance
