JD Specialized Recruitment is assisting a 5* Lodge in KwaZulu Natal, to recruit a guest centric and experienced LODGE MANAGER.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a 4* or 5* bush based remote lodge, in a similar senior management role.
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or similar.
- Good Computer literacy and financial acumen.
- Experience implementing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Ability to maintain a high level of hospitality service in all departments including maintenance, gardens, and housekeeping.
- Up to date with developments and current trends within the food and lodge industries.
- Staff management, training, and development experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Understanding of basic labour law and have experience with disciplinary hearings.
- Point of Sale and Property Management Systems experience.
- Strong organizing, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
- High standards of service excellence.
- Sound employment history and contactable references.
- Valid driver’s license.
Salary – R 25 000 – R30 000 (DOE) – Live-in
