๐—๐—— ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜‡๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ถ๐˜๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ is currently partnering with an ultra-luxury safari camp in Kenya to identify an experienced and hands-on professional to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of this exceptional remote operation in the role of ๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐——๐—š๐—˜ ๐— ๐—”๐—ก๐—”๐—š๐—˜๐—ฅ

 

This is a pivotal leadership role within a high-end safari environment, requiring a well-rounded hospitality professional to oversee all operational aspects of the lodge while ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards across all departments, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring that service delivery aligns with the expectations of a discerning international clientele.

Working closely with senior leadership, the Lodge Manager will take ownership of team performance, guest satisfaction and overall operational flow, ensuring that all departments operate cohesively and to a consistently high standard. This role requires a strong on the ground presence, with the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands on involvement in daily operations.

The position calls for an individual who leads from the front, is highly visible within the operation, and is confident managing both guest engagement and back of house functions. A natural ability to create a positive team culture, combined with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail, will be key to success in this role.

 

Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Minimum 5 to 7 yearsโ€™ experience in a senior lodge management role within a luxury safari environment
  • Proven ability to manage full lodge operations across front of house, housekeeping, Food & Beverage, guiding and maintenance
  • Solid financial understanding including budgeting, stock control and cost management
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing, mentoring and developing diverse teams in remote locations
  • Strong administrative and reporting capability with experience implementing structured operational standards
  • Confident working with hospitality systems and operational reporting tools
  • Calm, adaptable and resilient with the ability to perform under pressure in an extremely remote environment
  • Guest-centric with a genuine passion for hospitality and the African wilderness
