𝗝𝗗 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is currently assisting a prestigious private members club in Cape Town in recruiting a charismatic and experienced 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗠𝗜𝗫𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧

The ideal candidate is an elegant craftsman with a passion for flavour, design, and creating unforgettable experiences. We are seeking a charismatic and skilled Head Mixologist to bring the bar program to life through creativity, precision, and personality.

This leader will design and oversee a world-class cocktail and spirits program that reflects the club’s timeless, bold, and sophisticated aesthetic. With deep mixology expertise, strong leadership, and a refined presence, they will train staff, manage inventory and supplier relationships, and ensure every guest enjoys a polished and memorable experience.

𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦

• Drive membership acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies
• Develop and implement a signature cocktail program and thoughtfully curated spirits list that reflects a sophisticated and bold aesthetic.
• Lead and train bar staff on advanced techniques, presentation, and service excellence.
• Manage inventory, control costs, and build strong relationships with suppliers.
• Maintain impeccable bar presentation and meticulous mise en place.
• Innovate seasonally, aligning beverage offerings with culinary concepts and event themes.
• Provide an engaging, polished, and memorable experience for every guest.

𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 & 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in upscale bars or cocktail lounges.
• Demonstrated expertise in mixology and a track record of innovative beverage creation.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and international cocktail trends.
• Excellent leadership abilities, with strong skills in presentation and storytelling.
• Polished presence, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

• Stable employment history with contractable references.
