Head Chef | Sabi Sand Game Reserve

JD Specialized Recruitment is currently assisting an exclusive luxury lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, to recruit a highly experienced HEAD CHEF to lead their kitchen team.

Requirements:

• A 3-year Chef’s diploma from a reputable institution.
• 4 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury 5*environment with international exposure and advantage.
• A passion for food, up to date with current trends & eagerness to learn more.
• Strong management & customer service skills and good knowledge of hospitality operations.
• Experience in staff training & the ability to motivate staff.
• Excellent administration & computer skills, stock control, food costing and budgeting.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• A hardworking, energetic & positive candidate with good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Stable employment history and contactable references.

A food portfolio must be submitted with your application that clearly displays your creativity, innovation and attention to detail. (All images will be checked to ensure ownership)
