Head Chef | Madikwe

JD Specialized Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a high-end lodge situated in the Madikwe Game Reserve for an exceptional HEAD CHEF to join their team.

Requirements

• Relevant Culinary qualification from a reputable institution.
• At least 4 years’ experience in a luxury lodge environment
• Experience in fine-dining and up to date with international food trends.
• Strong leader with the ability to train and mentor a team.
• Knowledgeable and creative to cater for diverse dietary requirements.
• Understanding of best practices in terms of Health and Safety and HACCP regulations and practises.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Have excellent organizational, administration skills and stock management skills.
• Computer literate
• Valid SA Drivers license
• Stable employment history and contactable references.

A food portfolio must be submitted with your application that clearly displays your creativity, innovation, and attention to detail. (All images will be checked to ensure ownership)

Start: December 2023

Salary: R22 000 – R25 000
