JD Specialized Recruitment are currently in search of an experienced GENERAL MANAGER to open and manage an exclusive 5* Island Resort off the coast of Mozambique

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar senior managerial role at a 5-star Boutique property with FOH and BOH knowledge.
• A Relevant Degree in Tourism and Hospitality or equivalent is essential for a work visa.
• Preopening experience would be highly advantageous
• A warm and friendly person, guest centric with a good understanding of the requirements. needed to manage a high-end property, guest expectations and standards.
• Excellent communication, delegation and interpersonal skills.
• Skilled in day-to-day operations, financial management, HR, staff training, implementing SOP’s and cost control.
• Proven track record of effectively and fairly leading a team, displaying the ability to instil core company values and culture and lead by example.
• Firm but fair approach with high energy levels and attention to detail.
• Excellent track record showing commitment and longevity.
