JD Specialized Recruitment is partnering with an ultra-luxury hotel in Durban, to recruit a highly experienced and dynamic GENERAL MANAGER to lead their Team

Requirement

• Diploma in Hotel or Food & Beverage Management
• Previous experience at a GM level at a highly reputable and internationally recognised 5* hotel.
• Experience should preferably include 5 years Food & Beverage management (3 years at Executive Management level) plus 3 years Rooms Division Management experience.
• Excellent financial acumen and the ability to analyse financial and economical data and provide recommendations to mitigate potential risk.
• An inspirational leader with a track record of success managing, supporting, mentoring and coaching a highly experienced Senior Executive team.
• Computer literate with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel plus previous experience with Opera and Micros
• Exceptional guest interaction and service recovery skills.
• Excellent command of the English language with solid verbal and written communication skills
• A stable employment history that displays targets and objectives being met consistently.

Start Date – Early 2025

Salary – Highly negotiable (DOE)
