JD Specialized Recruitment is currently partnering with a Beach Resort in Madagascar, to recruit an experienced CHEF DE CUISINE to lead their kitchen team.
Requirements
· A Culinary Arts degree with 5–10 years of experience as a chef in high-end resorts, hotels, or restaurants.
· Proficiency in spoken and written French and/or Italian is highly advantageous
· In-depth knowledge of global cuisines and current culinary trends.
· Up to date with international food trends and menu design, with a creative and innovative approach to buffet setups and à la carte menus, paying close attention to detail.
· Strong understanding of kitchen procedures, workflow, and timing requirements.
· Knowledge of HR policies and the ability to mentor and train team members.
· Excellent administration, leadership, and communication skills.
· Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of fire equipment.
· Strong organizational and time management skills with a process-oriented mindset.
· A stable employment history with contactable references.
