JD Specialized Recruitment is partnering with an internationally recognized brand to recruit a BOUTIQUE HOTEL MANAGER for an ultra-luxury 5* Boutique Hotel in East Africa.
Requirements
• Hotel Management degree or diploma from a reputable institution
• 5 plus years’ experience in operations and at least 3 years in a similar position, gained at an exclusive and ultra luxury property. (Essential)
• Well versed in exclusive hotel operations and operating strategies, Rooms, Food and Beverage concepts and sales strategies
• Excellent financial management skills e.g., ability to analyze P&L statements, develop operating budgets, forecasting and capital expenditure planning.
• Knowledge of revenue management, marketing strategies and retail merchandising skills
• Experience with purchasing, inventory controls, supplies and equipment.
Knowledge of governmental regulations and safety standards
• Advanced computer skills and well versed in Property Management Systems.
• Strong organizational, strategic planning, delegation, decision making, critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability and experience to network and build relationships in order to grow the business.
• A track record that displays the ability to execute the strategy, drive results and the ability to implement innovative ways to create a unique guest experience and maximize revenue.
• Stable employment history and contactable references.
