Assistant General Manager | Tanzania (Island)

JD Specialized Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an intimate and exclusive 5* Island Lodge off the coast of Tanzania for an experienced ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER to join their Team.

EXPERIENCE

· Diploma in Hotel or Food & Beverage Management

· At least 5 years senior management experience with significant luxury Island and international experience.

· Ability to appropriately assign or delegate work and authority to others in the accomplishment of goals.

· Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to assist the GM to build a cohesive team

· Charismatic with exception guest relations and hosting skills

· Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.

· Monitor maintenance progress and ensure property & grounds are maintained.

· Strong financial acumen

· High energy, positive, dynamic.

· Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays and late shifts

· Sound employment history with contactable references.
